New into the collection recently, the Farlows Rudham gilet has become a firm favourite and a real staple within the Farlows collections. Designed to be worn for both town and country, smart and casual, this Nehru collar tweed vest is a must have for any wardrobe. It’s incredibly versatile and very easy to wear with a variety of different outfits. For AW22 we have introduced Navy hopsack colour, which further helps the versatility of this wonderful item of country clothing. Also referred to as a waistcoat or vest, this is an essential part of your shooting clothing and country attire wardrobe.

THE PERFORMANCE FABRIC
- Both our tweed options for the Farlows Rudham are produced by Lovat Mill in Hawick, Scottish Borders
- Red/Gold Windowpane is a quality that combines worsted merino yarns and fine cheviot woollen spun yarns which together give a light yes robust tweed. It weighs 430 grams per running metre of cloth. It has a golden/Olive/bronze ground with a red and a gold weft and warp windowpane pattern
- Navy Hopsack is a unique tweed to Farlows. Hopsack is a lighter style of tweed which works perfectly for tailoring such as sports jackets and waistcoats such as the Rudham. It is 100% wool, worsted and lambswool high twist and it also weighs in at 430 grams per running metre. It is a semi-plain navy and denim blue twist hopsack tweed
- Tweed produced for us in Scotland
- Alcantara lined collar on the red/gold WP and Navy Loden lined collar for the Navy Hopsack, both giving added comfort and warmth

- Smart/Casual styling, great with a shirt or knitwear underneath

- Please note the measurements are ‘Chest measurement is armpit to armpit and the Back Length from neck seam to base’ These are all made to within half an inch of tolerance.
